SpaceGenie — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

SpaceGenie ("the App") is an AI-powered interior design application that transforms photos of your spaces into stunning design concepts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address and display name when you sign in via Apple ID or other authentication providers.
• Photos: Images of your rooms that you choose to upload for AI design transformation. These are processed by our AI services and not stored permanently on our servers.
• Usage Data: Number of designs generated, design styles selected, and subscription status. This is stored securely in Firebase.
• Device Information: Device type and OS version for app functionality and push notifications.
• Subscription Data: Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status but do not have access to your payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered room design transformations
• To manage your account and subscription
• To track your monthly design usage
• To send push notifications about your designs (with your permission)
• To improve the App and fix issues

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): For user authentication, data storage, and cloud functions. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini AI: For room type detection and AI design analysis. Room images are processed and not retained. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Fal.ai: For AI image generation. Images are processed temporarily and not stored permanently.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management. May collect anonymous identifiers. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• OneSignal: For push notifications. See OneSignal Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: For serving ads to free-tier users. May collect advertising identifiers. See Google Privacy Policy.

5. Camera & Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your camera and photo library solely to capture or select room photos for AI transformation. Photos are only used when you explicitly choose to generate a design and are not stored on our servers after processing.

6. Data Retention

Your account data (email, usage statistics, subscription status) is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

SpaceGenie is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
